you need to change your settings in cute ftp so it doesnt default to the html DIR so you can see the full path | |

In the file location screen are you using something like
/home/DIR NAME/public_html/forbidden-lore.com/ravennuke/html/.staccess DIR NAME being what ever yous is I could take a look for you if ... |

so create an .staccess file and place it somewhere in your site ( i prefer not to put mine in the root)

have you checked the chmod to make sure they are 777 then once the file is modified set the permission back to 666 | |

Yes but they are unreliable. The best way to do it is to use the ranges (CIDR's).
You can enter them directly in a htaccess file or use Nuke Sentinels import IP2C to block ranges feature. where i ... |
