Our hosting company is driving us absolutely insane...they totally screwed up our php site and they have no idea what they're doing. We've been trying to look at it ourselves, but we don't really know ...

ok...here's where we're at now...comments & read more links are fixed, but here's what they did...made a copy of our phpnuke folder called nuke, and fixed everything in the /nuke folder...so now / ...

i've got them looking at it now...they're even more clueless than me, unfortunately...

FWIW, I have installed 2.5.0 on my 7.9 w/3.2 patches system.

OK, once I run the nsnst.php, it tells me

Ok, tomorrow I will attempt to add nuke sentinal one more time. My last 3 attempts have not been successful, so I have searched and read everything I can find here, so I have as much info as I can.

Great, thanks for the advice!

For now we are just banning any bad IPs that are listed on sites whose sentinal DOES work (along with the ones we caught), and we haven't had any hackers since...maybe ...

I would advise against 2.021 for the moment.
Go for 2.0.20

You might want to list any modules you have added as some have known problems and check wether you have any files in your nuke root which ...

it may be simply a matter of upgrading your Forums.
Are you using the latest phpbbtoNuke forums?
