They probably just gave up on trying to prevent it from being hacked.
I have thought about ditching Nuke a few times or so. |

For some, the grass is always greener somewhere else...(I must admit I've read the menu a few times myself). I think a lot of it has to do with limited improvements and recurring problems (not just security). Still, the amount of functionality, options, etc. is hard to match.
I do believe that a focused team like the RavenNuke team can make a significant difference (and already has in some areas!). Raven, Montego, Evaders...just to name a few, who are working hard to evolve Nuke into a more secure, functional, flexible, on and on. The truly successful projects look like this (not one person claiming to write everything, when he is paying people behind the screens for new stuff and ignoring the problems). Tracking and, gasp!, fixing bugs and adding new functionality, contributed by others...it's a good thing! |

Why did you start your site ? The reasons to start and to close a nuke website are different. I m sure security issues are one of the prime reasons to close a website. Also it s not easy to build a community and to manage a great community you need manager qualification. I´m not saying that I don´t have this skills but it depends sometimes on the formation of that community members means age, interests, skills etc. to have fun, positive results and feedback or only trouble.
However, its hard work and if I reach the point I ´ll say to myself I´m free and close my website.
Also dead check the Google cache of:
