Making My First Block!

Hello all,

I have decided to write up some code to make my very own PHP-Nuke block. There are two reasons that I am here posting this. Reason 1: I'm unable to find a string of code I need. Basically, I just want to put text in the block. It will look like:

Recruitement: Open!

or

Recruitment: Closed

The problem I am having is that I'm unable to find the code I need that will allow me to set up colored text. All I can think of to start with is

The second reason I am posting this is to say thanks to everone here who has helped me! I never would have had the guts to try to write this thing if you guys hadnt helped me so much throughout the months I've been asking for help here. So...thank a ton!!! RavensScripts

You would want to look up and find examples of the spantag with either using a classattribute to point to a class you have defined in a CSS file, OR, using a styleattribute with the color:red orcolor:blue directives. If you need finer color control, you can also use hex color equivalents.

Hopefully this was enough to at least point you in the right direction since posting some of these HTML/CSS elements here gets stripped out (as you can see from your original code block).

Look for examples of the SPAN tag in the themes or other nuke code.
