when i'm logged in as a god admin i'm not a forum admin.
I can admin the entire site but not the forums.
I was thinking this was a cookie issue but i have read 15 or 20 posts about anything to do with cookies, admin, forum or login and cannot find the answer. I'll keep looking around the forums but if you happen to know the answer to my problem please post. Thanks. |

Forums administration is handled differently because it isn't truly integrated into nuke, nuke just provides a 'wrapper'.
What specifically can you not do?
You should be able to do anything that is linked under nuke admin ->Forums |

Your nuke user (not your nuke admin user) must be set up as a forum moderator. |

Forums Administrator is what kguske means.
To do it directly in phpMyAdmin, set your user's user_level field to 2 |

Guardian2003, when im logged in as an god admin and i go to the forums i cannot do any type of admin function unless im also logged in as a site user with moderation powers.
kguske, i have two accounts, one is the god user & one is a superuser.
my super user has to be made a moderator in order to admin the forums, which seems strange to me. i mean if the account has super user status , it should be able to do most anything.
evaders99, so if i set my user_level field to 2, then i wont have to manually give the superuser account moderator status for any newly created forums. that change will do it automatically. |

thebishop, re making your super user a moderator, that goes back to what Guardian said before - the forums aren't fully integrated. |
