I knew this would come back to haunt me. I have multiple records of team_id in userteams in which the corrosponding team_id does not not exist in team.

How could I do this in MySQL ?

DELETE FROM userteams
WHERE team_id NOT IN (SELECT team_id FROM teams)

This is too funny. That is how I would approach it using Oracle. Have you tried this? What error msg is it giving? Make sure to back up that table first!!! Smile
