Yes, I know, I've said that before but this time it's for real. I have been the one holding this up this last month as I seemed to have had one crisis after another that has kept me from fulfilling my obligations and duties for this project as well as many others. For that, I apologize!
We have made well over 10,000 changes, fixes, tweaks, add-ons, standardization, etc. We have endeavored to test this thing every which way, including up . That's the main reason we wouldn't let it go. We were all dedicated to the QA aspect of this release in hopes of minimizing the number and type of post release fixes.
I want to take this opportunity to introduce an recognize the entire RavenNuke(Tm) Team. There is not a better team of people that I have ever worked with in my 37 years in Professional IT - no exaggeration! The spirit, maturity, desire, integrity, and so much more could be said for/about them. Much sacrificing of time, energy, and health, not to mention blood, sweat, and tears, have gone into this release.

There have been some others that helped us find bugs through the RavenNuke public testing and limited beta release. Thanks to everyone!
Our hope and our desire is that this will raise the bar from what has been a very untrustworthy, unsafe, and bug plagued history of phpnuke to a very high standard. Have we missed anything? You can probably count on it because we are only human. And, in spite of all the work we have done, we know there is still more but we had to draw a stake in the sand and say No Mas! But I'll tell you what, there won't be much in terms of user experience that we missed. We fixed code that has never worked, as far back as v5.5, 6.0, 6.5, to the present v8.0 release. So, you may find some Quirks and oddities that weren't there before. And I need to mention that the speed increase is very noticeable due to all of the Notices, Warnings, and Errors that were fixed.
What does the future hold? I don't know at this point. While we are very excited with what this release has done and will do for the community, we also need a good rest for many reasons, least of al - burnout. We all sacrificed work on our own site(s) to devote as much time and effort as possible to RavenNuke(tm). Lord willing it will not have been in vain |

I too would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to everyone who worked on this project whether they were a developer or bug reporter.
Every single piece of feedback, every single comment has helped the whole team stay focused and committed and hopefully, this day will be seen in Nuke history as a milestone event. |
