Hello ppl i am looking for an application script for pinging sites. any remmendation?

Do you mean something like a PHP script that checks to see if a site responds on port 80, for example?

Linux terminal or Windows Command line:

ping www.example.com

An application script which function like an technorati site where user can ping and claim their site and display generated feed. was wondering why noone took the interest of the idea from technorati example to develop into a module.

Technorati has some details on adding your own ping to your site.

Not tried it myself though.
