Have you cleared your browser cache on the one giving you the issue?

Raven, just so you know, he was able to register a new user on my site, which meant he got through the AJAX components there and with the same browser. I honestly believe, since the issue is with each of his AJAX components, that there is something either stopping the execution of those properly on his server or some weird path issue.

I am certain that the AJAX stuff is separated into two types: 1) where DB call is needed, and 2) where it isn't. I just cannot recall how how kguske set that up and I am not where I can check that. I believe the failures may be either just the scripts not producing the right error message, or when he needs to use the 1) version of the AJAX call, its not somehow picking up the config.php settings properly.

Another possibility, which lends itself to my theory that something on the server is stopping the AJAX requests is this thread here:

http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/posts18255-highlight-.html

See Guardian's last post and the poster's host was able to correct the issue after learning of that tid-bit.

Thanks M. I'll definitely look at that also. Hopefully Rick (from the other post) will be able to find out what his support guys changed.

I couldn't see anything that stands out in the phpinfo output. Sad

Since only your AJAX components are failing. I would tell your web host this fact and have them fix the server settings (most likely either PHP or mod_security). It might be something around the XMLHTTPRequest.

Hello again,

So we have tested some thing:

Internet Explorer: Scrips loaded ok
Firefox : Scripts loaded ok
Opera 9.x & 10.x: Error

So it's only with Opera.

I wait now on a answer from my Hoster.

Best Regards

I think this is an opera problem.

I think, too.

But why only on my rent Space. I think it's maybe a DB, a Server config and PHP issus, too.

I have wrote my hoster from this problem, i have tell him, too thats the Script (RN 2.4) works local with out any problems (all Browsers).

My php.ini conf is diferent as the one the Online space. The differece are:

output_buffering = On (local)

output_buffering = Off (Webspace)

allow_call_time_pass_reference = On (local)

allow_call_time_pass_reference = Off (Webspace)

register_globals = On (local)

register_globals = Off (Webspace)

register_long_arrays = On (local)

register_long_arrays = Off (Webspace)

magic_quotes_gpc = On (local)

magic_quotes_gpc = Off (Webspace)

enable_dl = Off (local, LAMP)

enable_dl = On (Webspace)

So i wait on an answer from my Hoster.

Have a nice Day

Best Regards

bdmdesign, you were able to execute these scripts on my site (i.e., a new user set up) using Opera, so this isn't an Opera issue per se. I still contend this is host setup. This was good information about the other browsers that you posted... good clue, but I don't know what it means yet.

You might want to ask them if they are using any kind of web application firewall, such as mod_security, or anything else that might somehow have a bad rule related to the Opera User Agent.

Hello bdmdesign. I think you should move to another host.

I recommend this one to you. Check it out. Amazing support and I guess it is the same that Nuken has.

Link to hosting provider removed by admin. This is a violation of Raven's forum rules. Sorry.
