Block content does not appear in I.E Browser ?

Hi all, I am currently using Google Chrome as a web browser and my site blocks display fine but when I look at my site in I.E I notice one the the blocks content does not appear Confused

The content of the block is this....

Any idea`s what maybe wrong?

Change the first $content .= to $content = Leave the second on as it is.
