Colorbox isn't working, but only on one site. The entry for colorbox in the image properties-link isn't being saved. Any idea where to start looking. I checked all the permissions on all of the pertinent files and they all seem to be correct. Possible that a former directory/file hanging around is the culprit? This is an old site with many nuke upgrades, etc.

Cheers

One file that tends to hang around is config.pho, which contains the $allowable_html array that determines valid combinations of tags.

I have no such file that I can find.

Sorry, I meant config.php, but the $allowable_html might be in rnconfig.php. Check both.

I believe I saw that before, so what to do with it in that case?

Ok, copied the $allowableHTML lines from both config.php and rnconfig.php from a stie where colorbox does work and overwrote the lines in the site that doesn't. Still doesn't work, the colorbox(not in a group) is not saved.

It sounds like you added an enhancement for colorbox with FCKeditor, but possibly not on the site that doesn't work. Compare the includes/fckeditor folders on the non-working site and a working site.

That takes an awful lot of time. What I'll do is to delete the current FCKeditor and install the bits from the 2.4.01 distro. Should take care of anything that may be interferring, etc.

If you use a tool like WinMerge or BeyondCompare, it doesn't take long.

My concern with the other approach is I don't remember if we added the Colorbox FCKeditor integration to the base package.

Did the remove/re-install of FCKEditor and also uploaded the NukeWysiwyg Colorbox and still doesn't work, colorbox(not in a group) is not saved. Dunno, will have to shelve this for a while unless we can come up with something that does the trick.

Thanks

When "colorbox (not in a group)" is selected and then OK, where is that information saved, in a table or where? Finding out then I can go from there maybe, who knows.

There are no special tables for this. It's simply an additional class added in the HTML (in an "li," "a" or "img" tag). You can manually add it to your HTML (look at the article on nukeseo.com for an example - I'm behind a filter that blocks access at the moment). If manually adding it works, then the problem is with FCKeditor. If manually adding it doesn't work, the problem has to do with filtering, either through $allowable_html or some conflict with another JS.

Copying /FCKeditor, the entries for $allowHTML in both config.php and rnconfig.php from the new distro didn't work. Possibly copying the entire /includes from the distro after removing the old may work, dunno, worth a try tho.

If you can PM FTP info, I can take a look. If the site doesn't allow open registration, I may also need a user or admin account.

Ok but first I'm going to try replacing the entire /includes/ from the site that works. Replaced the config.php an rnconfig.php but that didn't work. I'll do that from home later this evening and then we'll go from there.

Hmmm, maybe mentioning that the image in question is embedded in a ContentPlus FAQ entry. Added a "class="colorbox" and that didn't do the trick either. But I don't think that would have anything to do with the colorbox selection not being saved.

Thanks

New Wrinkle ...

Colorbox works in the "messages" section but not in Content Plus. Any ideas as to how to make it work in C-plus? I can see in the source that <a rel="colorbox" class="colorbox" ...........> are there but are not there after saving and going back and looking at the source.

Cheers

Check with jestrella to see if ContentPlus has it's own allowable HTML or a unique filtering (I believe it's the former).

Will do, if he's listening in .. thanks

I looked at some of the files in /content/var/ and in particular /content/var/pagination.css and there was a reference to "lightbox" that was commented out. Perhaps there are other references to lightbox that need to be changed to "colorbox", dunno.

Jon??

Solved !!

When I upgraded to 2.4.0.1, I retained a previous version of ContentPlus for fears of losing things. After uploading the new distro CP, it works as intended now.
