Hi All,

I am new to upgrades and have a question. I noted this message, Forum admin screen

" Your installation does not seem to be up to date. Updates are available for your version of phpBB, please visit http://www.nukeresources.com to obtain the latest version of BBToNuke (the ported version of phpBB files for phpNuke)."
The latest available version is phpBB 7.2.0. You are running phpBB 2.0.23."

I am using ravenscpripts and clearly need to update. The link for the newest version sends me to a standard nuke site rather than ravenscripts.

Can someone point me via a lin along with the correct version to use. cafteam.org is my site. I am running a BF3 theme for the site.

Thank-you from Noob Recon Smile

Which version of RavenNuke (tm) are you using?
The latest official version is 2.5.1

I only ask because I thought we had removed that version look-up in the administration area because RavenNuke uses the latest 2.x branch version of BBToNuke (the fork of phpBB), plus some other fixes and enhancements that were not in the latest "offical" code released by phpBB.

If I'm not mistaken, the latest official version by phpBB is 3.01.1 (though the 3.x series is not compatible without a lot of work) so I'm intrigued why your website is showing version 7.2.0. (maybe someone has been playing in your database?)

Also, I see from your website source code that javascript file are being given a type of "text/rocketscript" when it should be "text/javascript" if you want any javascript to work correctly so this is something that has been changed after installation.

This is an issue with phpbb.com. The forums admin index is still looking at phpbb.com/updatecheck/20x.txt which appears to be correct. It only seems to work now if the HTTP is set to 1.0 instead of 1.1. I can only assume they have changed something on their end.

Like I said above, it is an issue on phpbb.com end, not RavenNuke. The forum included with RN is the latest release of the 2.xx series and there is no update to it.

This is an outdated version check which has been removed from our next (major) release. No worries, no updates are or will be available via phpbb for the 2.X branch.

Any updates needed are included with our releases; as we are maintaining (our version of) the script at this point.
