Integration forum PhpBB3 3.1.2 to PhpNuke including changes to update Members Your Account place, avatar, date of birth, email etc. Edit file admin for total renovation Administrator, currently in Beta Test.

misterstereus, you are not alone with a BETA test of phpBB3 but here exists many threads around this topic if it should needed or not to integrate it as module. I believe nuken was the last one to test it on a big round.

There are a lot of issues to generate a very good bridge that you know as the integrated version of BB2Nuke in RN. You can't mix it without to get big issues with php filterings and the secruity. To let it run as stand-alone is one thing but to make really secure and bring it in a bridge to the same standard as the CMS used is the much more important thing.

What you have done its only a try to sync the user db-tables but it is still exists since some years and it is far a way from a real module bridge like BB2Nuke. I can speak only for me and i don't need the v3 because the current version of BB2Nuke does all that i need and if would something be missed, than i would write a extension for that because its secure, fast, has a good solid code-standard, its validated and it's far away from the crap-source of the original.

Yes Neralex, my integration is not for you, you can use phpbb2.... I prefere my last version PhpBB3 3.1.2 of 25-11-2014

Yes you are totally right because i would only use a real module bridge but this is far away from a "integration".

I uploaded the site and the forum today, you have not even tried it so you're saying useless things, mine is not a bridge but a complete integration that I'm reporting for those interested and I can suggest changes and errors.

Let's be realistic. If your nuke is GOLD then we should say, shiny, clean, fast, secure, no errors. What is the purpose of showing a new module with 1000 validation errors? I will never understand that. Anyway, good luck with your GoldNuke. In my opinion, I will never go back to those buggy nuke I had before like phpnuke, pcnuke, evo extreme nuke, platinum nuke. I'ved tried all myself. So many errors but the funny thing is. People created buggy modules with lots of secutity wholes and huge amount of validation errors. They try to sell it and then later for any reason it won't update anymore. Show me something fresh for Ravennuke and I will be the first one to give compliments but for now I only see NO LIGHT!
