I did delete the old one yes, and I closed IE and opened it up again, cos it's set to empty each time it's closed.
But I did refresh the page a couple of times before checking the block.
It's not a great problem I can make the block only viewable for Admin, so only I can see it.
It's just annoying that something on my site is making some blocks go like this. Before I put RWIW on I tried Realtime Stats a few weeks back and the same thing happened to that one, so I deactivated it.
It's only those 2 blocks that seem to go like it, all the other blocks I've added are fine. Which is what's so annoying lol
Just to confirm I didnt have both blocks running at the same time, I'd already deactivated RTS before putting RWIW on. |

Hmmmm
Thanks Ganga. Maybe I didnt put the changes in the right place then????
Sowwy, it's my fault then.
I'll go thru all the css style sheets for each them then and change the code to what you've posted in your previous post then shall I?
I wonder why it needs each css file editing though?
Thank you for sorting it out Ganga much appreciated. (((hug))) |

Ganga it's altered the whole theme, now you can't read the text on the homepage or the forums cos it's made the text white instead of black rofl
I've reuploaded the original EOS css file otherwise no-one can read the site lol |

Re uploading the original means you are right back at square one again.
I said earlier, you had 2 sets of body attributes, 1 over riding the other. I removed the 2nd body and added the scrollbar colours to the 1st and that's how you fix up the font size.
Now all you need to do is sort your colour problems, just fix the colours in the css file body section, it's a 10 second job.
I have shown you the door, now you need to walk through it. |

thanks Ganga I'll try again
*edit*
Well I still can't see in that css file where it's changed the site text to #ffffff
When I altered it again and went back to the site it was white text as I said on the forums and main site, and when I checked the css file I couldnt see #ffffff anywhere in the code, and everywhere it said text color it said it was #000000 which is black, but it's white on the site.
I'll just make it for Admins to see and leave it as it is I think, it's too much hassle for me lol
thanks for your help though Ganga much appreciated. |

You just can't overlay your files with Chat's or anyone else's once you have customized your Nuke installation, which it appears you probably have done. You have to apply his changes manually. From the README that comes with the WIW script, you need to check that this code is still in place.Code:Installation Instructions:
ftp blocks, modules, and includes to your ftp site, same folders. When prompted just overwrite.
The next 2 steps have to be done manually because they are timing sensitive. In your root nuke folder,
edit index.php. On or about line 24
[FIND]
$home = 1;
[INSERT AFTER]
/////////////////
include_once('includes/RWH_wiw.inc.php');
/////////////////
edit modules.php. On or about line 22
[FIND]
$name = trim($name);
[INSERT AFTER]
/////////////////
include_once('includes/RWH_wiw.inc.php');
/////////////////

Thank you Raven, I wondered what I'd missed lol
I've edited them now and its showing where everyone is, still huge text tho, and I can't see where to change the text to black in the css file so going to leave it as is. It works which is the main thing.
Never mind hun. I can put up with it if it's only me can see it. It's not the end of the world for me. |

I had already fixed your wiw css problem, and you changed it back again.
Anyway, if you re enable the WIW block, I will fix the wiw css (again) and then take a look at this white text you are talking about. The css sheet for your theme seems messed up anyway from start to finish. Make sure your ftp details are the same as they was the other day. |

oooh Ganga would you try again? lol
Sorry for changing it back to what it was, but no-one could read the text in the center blocks And my lot are a grumpy lot of old coots at the best of times. lol
You can see the white text in your post here where you put a screenshot, the centre blocks are just visible in it.
ftp is still the same and the css style sheet is the one unpacked from ermmm think it was Nukemods I got it from. EOS theme. i didnt touch the css style sheet, I just reuploaded it.
the block is reactivated now, you can't miss it it's the one right down bottom left with HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE text in it rofl
ps: I can't help being dim I was dropped on my head as a baby lol
ps: Raven, happy to donate, at the rate I get problems I'll have to think about paying you people a monthly salary |

The text is yellow not white, maybe thats why you couldnt fix it in the css. I will take a look anyway. |

It's fixed now. I removed the duplicate body attribute again and changed font size 12px to 10px in the remaining body section. I see no yellow (or white ) text anywhere. |

It's wonderful Ganga, it looks perfect, thank you so much.

Thanks again, much appreciated.
I wont touch the other css files, cos Eos is the default one which matters, lol

No problem.
If you want to fix your other themes, take a look at the body sections of the css, make sure you only have 1 set. If you have 2 then combine them in to 1 and edit the font size. |

Well the wiw box is working fine in 2 of the other themes, without me editing them, which is a great relief lol
But ok, I'll follow your instructions when I delve into the other themes Ganga.
Thanks mate! |

Sorry to be a pain again, but WIW has gone wonky. I think it's gone menopausal rofl
Chatserv sorted the probs out for me with the radminblocker file thingie and the sites workng great now, and he found lots of other things that needed tidying up, but for some reason now the WIW isn't reporting where people actually are.
I'm always in News when I'm all over the site, and everyone who is in Forums WIW says they're in Home.
I'm almost frightened to post this cos I know how dim I was with the font problem lol
Can you point me in the right direction to get WIW back on track please? |

oh ok Ganga I'll pm him on NR about it.
He did think it was something Protector had done to the files when it was installed, and didn't get cleared when I uninstalled Protector to put Sentinel on.
Protector's been off my site for ages, but its still causing problems it seems. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr |

Hiyas muffin, don't think what i last changed could have any effect on the block as the only thing i did was edit your mainfile.php so that it would not give you the "html tags not allowed" message when adding blocks and/or news and the change was done in the filtering code near the start of the file but since one never knows with this type of message i would suggest making a copy of mainfile then editing the filter code on one of the copies, upload it and check if it solves the problem.
Code:foreach ($_GET as $secvalue) {
if ((eregi("<[^>]*script*\"?[^>]*>", $secvalue)) ||
(eregi("<[^>]*object*\"?[^>]*>", $secvalue)) ||
(eregi("<[^>]*iframe*\"?[^>]*>", $secvalue)) ||
(eregi("<[^>]*applet*\"?[^>]*>", $secvalue)) ||
(eregi("<[^>]*meta*\"?[^>]*>", $secvalue)) ||
(eregi("<[^>]*style*\"?[^>]*>", $secvalue)) ||
(eregi("<[^>]*form*\"?[^>]*>", $secvalue)) ||
(eregi("\([^>]*\"?[^)]*\)", $secvalue)) ||
(eregi("\"", $secvalue))) {
die ("<center><img src=images/logo.gif><br><br><b>The html tags you attempted to use are not allowed</b><br><br>[ <a href=\"javascript:history.go(-1)\"><b>Go Back</b></a> ]");
}
}
foreach ($_POST as $secvalue) {
if ((eregi("<[^>]script*\"?[^>]*>", $secvalue)) || (eregi("<[^>]style*\"?[^>]*>", $secvalue))) {
