Greets everyone. I have yet another weird question I cant figure out.

I found the file that the line break before a custom sig, but I cant seem to locate the file that the template for the sig the user enters for themself is placed in.

Im looking for it because it looks like for those who use sig images on my forums there is perhaps a cell side by side and it causes the header to have a big empty space next to it. The longer hte sig the wider the gap. I assume that someone just forgot to span the td an extra column.

Thanks to any who can assist.

The forum skin I am using is smartor. If someone has encountered such an issue with his/her skin.

The forum sig is accessed from the Forum Profile and/or the Your_Account Your Info link.

Thanks Raven, but thats not what I need.

I need the actual template around the sig. Not the place the sig is entered into.

I need to edit the table itself I think to fix this "gap" that shows up in the header at the top of the page. The "gap" grows depending how large the sig is. So I assume that the td the sig is kept in needs to be spanned another column. But I cant find where that code is kept.

It's in viewtopic_body.tpl, <SPAN CLASS="postbody">{postrow.SIGNATURE}</SPAN>

I wish you luck with this one as I tried to fix the problem you described for a long time but had no luck what so ever, I tried moving the signature to it's own table and still no joy.

I use to have the same problem in a stand alone phpbb so I disabled signatures in the end. Post back if you manage to fix this annoyance.

I noticed this is only an issue in IE, when viewing with FF the tables only stretch as wide as the signature image.
