Admin modules taking me back to admin home

I installed Sentinel 7.6 onto nuke 7.6 patched and updated all the appropriate files. Now when I go into admin.php and click on any modules there, I get taken to the admin login page... I put in my user/pass and it takes me back to admin home... not the module. It's an endless cycle. Help me break the cycle!

actually, it started working ok today when i got into the site from dialup. hope i'm not banned or restriced.
