Downloads categories are dead!!!

Hi there, i had some downloads available in my site, but after upgrading my site to nuke 7.6 some things won't work anymore. For example the downloads section. IF i'm going to create a new downlaods category and hit add...my nuke won't add that category!
Does anyone knows how to fix this?

Shmi,
Make sure none of your category names have parenthesis in them. Strip those out and then see if they work again. And, I appologize ahead of time if I have mixed up the wrong solution with the wrong question/problem!!! There have been so many lately on these forums between 7.6, 2.9 and Sentinel.
