My forum users that aren't members of a group can view posts when they click on view posts since last visit. My PHBB version is phpBB 2.0.15. Will moving to phpBB 2.0.17 fix it, or screw anything up? Only registered members see this stuff, but they're not part of the group that the forums are for.

Make the forum private and hidden then when editing group permissions set the group to allowed access.

I think that it was an error on my part that was corrected. Can I upgrade the board to phpBB 2.0.17 with my Nuke 7.8. or will it screw something up?

You can upgrade the forums, there shouldn't be any problem, just remember to make a file and database backup first. Only upgrade to 7.8 if you are currently using 7.7
