Could anyone tell me or point me in the right direction on how I would go about adding a comment section/box below one of my modules?

Much like the way the comments work for the news module.

viper155, it depends on how much functionality you want built around it. For starters, you could look at how the News module does it, but that might be "overkill" for what you are interested in.

I would create a new db table to store your comment fields.
Then I would find and install the bit of secure code and html required, and then edit it to reflect the db changes and then test it.

viper155, that is just the posting of a comment. I would take a look at he News module's index.php script and you would probably want the following functionality:

Add Comment
Edit Comment
Preview Comment(?)
Delete Comment
Display Comment

The first four are fairly straightforward, but the last one could be straightforward too, but id you are wanting all the "threading" capability like what is in News, it gets complex.

I would definitely use News as your "model".
