Hi...I am wondering if anyone has some advise about sending out mass e-mails to registered users of my nuke site. I see the intergrated newsletter freature, but I want to send an email to the members with images as well as text.

I have authored the newsletter/e-mail in dreamweaver and have all the html, but I am not sure it will work if I simply past this is the newsletter field and mail it to my site members.

can someone please tell me if this way shoudl work and is the way to do this or if there is a better way...perhaps a way to export the email address details from my members registrations and use another way to send a regular newsletter or email to them all.

thanks.

I do not believe the standard nuke newsletter tool will allow you to do this. Hence why the original author of the HTML Newsletter created that tool and is now why I am supporting and enhancing it over time. Feel free to download that add-on from my site in my signature line below.

However, now that I first given my shameful "plug", there are alternatives. You could try Fancy Newsletter (out on SourceForge but no longer actively maintained) and either NSN Groups (which is included in RavenNuke76 2.x) or NSN Mailing List.

Although you can put HTML in the standard newsletter, it's much easier to use one of the tools montego mentioned for sending HTML newsletters. The standard newsletter function also doesn't give you an easy way to test a newsletter before sending it - which the other tools also do.
