Forum issues, suggestions please?

Hello,
First I want to thank Raven for all the hard work he puts into his progamming. I have recently installed his latest Nuke7.6 cmplete package. The way I did it, I installed it, tested it and then uploaded it to my site. Then I populated parts of the db with content from my previous version which was 7.6 patched by Chatserv. I am having issues with the forum, it shows the topics but it shows there are no posts. The original "member" names have changed some, i do not know if this is the issue or not.

You would first need to upgrade your current forum to v2.00.20. Then, you would need to compare the schemas of all tables that you intend on using data from. Only then can you safely move the table data. Then, if you still have issues, you beed to try a Forum resync through the Forum ACP. You will need to copy the nuke_users table and several others to keep your database in sync.

Thanks Raven,

The forum was the latest version as that is what came out in your package. I had already tried most the other options you suggested but I did however find that it was the bbtopics table that was not getting populated. Thus the posts were there but I was being told there were no topics to view.

Glad you got it. In your original post you said Then I populated parts of the db with content from my previous version which was 7.6 patched by Chatserv. That's what you normally have to bring up to date to v2.00.20 to make it easier to move data.
