hi guys i want to remove the tinymce editor from nuke 8 how do i do that ?

$nuke_editor: Turn On/Off the WYSIWYG text editor

simply set that in config.php,turning it off.

no man, iwant to remove every file of it
so i can install SPAW or FCKEDITOR

Not sure if anyone has posted instructions for removing TinyMCE, but another question worth answering is this: why use 8.0? You could use RN 2.10 and already have FCKeditor integrated.

RN has more options that i need.
i want only FCK not sentinl and other stuff.

so, back to my question how do i remove this ugly editor ? haha Razz

You don't want Sentinel? Shocked

I would guess you set $nuke_editor to 0 or false or whatever, then blow away the TinyMCE files.

As far as I've seen, the editor itself is only called in includes/javascript.php
Removing the code in that file should be all that needs to be done
