Clear all your cookies, close the browser, come back into a fresh browser BUT, and this is VERY important, go directly to http://yourdomain/admin.php only. (Of course, if you renamed your admin file -- completely unnecessary -- change the name there.)
I have seen this happen when people bookmark an admin link underneath admin.php or when they use their browser history or ______. |

Yes I cleared all my Cookies,cleard all my passwords.
I ask the site to E-Mail a new password but I never got it.So I had to register again.
I think the problem was on my end with my other E-Mail account.That old account is overun with spam so all the filters are on and I miss a few Mails.I've checked my spam folder but it wasn't in there either. |

I just finished installing the sentinel on my site too and I can't go to this page in order to setup all my HTTP user/password.
Everytime i click on the "You MUST set ALL admin passwords before activating HTTPAuth or CGIAuth" to setup the passwords it comes back again to the sentinel main admin page.
How can i get to this screen and setup my passwords? Or how sould i specify them at the .htacess to use CGIAuth?
This is my file now
Code:
# -------------------------------------------
# Start of NukeSentinel(tm) admin.php Auth
# -------------------------------------------
<Files .staccess>
deny from all
</Files>
<Files admin.php>
<Limit GET POST PUT>
require valid-user
</Limit>
AuthName "Restricted by NukeSentinel(tm)"
AuthType Basic
AuthUserFile /home/acct/public_html/v3test/.staccess
</Files>
# -------------------------------------------
# End of NukeSentinel(tm) admin.php Auth
# -------------------------------------------
|
where should I place the user/password stuff? |
