Banners

Well after much searching and reading on the forum I still am not able to get my banners to do what they need to do. Right now it is smack dab in the middle and I can not get it to align to the right of the logo. Any help please!!!

Thanks that might work but won't it only be a temp. fix? I am also trying to get the banners to rotate.

man i'm sorry i was thinking you were just trying to ad a banner there, i was not thinking about the banner system.

Thank you but no go.... that was what the orginal code had. I changed it after searching this forum for solutions. I am going to upload one of the orginal themes from the package and see if it is the theme....

You are using the default banner module ....... right?
If you are I found the problem just replace the theme.php with the original theme.php.

If not please tell me what banner module you are trying to use.

Yup using the original banner module. I will replace it with the orginal I sent you. What was the problem?

Did you create a client for this banner in banners admin area?
Are the banners active in the banners admin area?

The banner module that is in RavenNuke(tm) 2.10.00 is from PHP-Nuke 7.9 or 8.0 (cannot remember which). It was more advanced than the original 7.6 version so a command decision was made to replace it.

You simply place the ads using the ads() function. For example, for ads that are for position '0', you would use ads(0). For position '1' ads, use ads(1). Etc...

Banners are active. When I put them in the left block they show up. For whatever reason they will not show up in the header.

So in header.html should I change?

No, $showbanners is correct. But in theme.php, the code to generate that variable needs to be replaced with

That should be all if you're using the latest RavenNuke, your theme uses the $showbanners variable in the header.html template, and you've set a banner using the Advertising module to position 0

I am using RVN v2.10.0 is this the latest version?

The advertising module is set to zero and working. If you visit the site you can see under the center block titled test the banner shows up there. I just can't seem to make it work in the header right next to the logo... this is getting frustrating....

Anyone else have any ideas?
