Sorry to ask such a dumb question, but I have been all through the posts and I guess I am just confused. Is version 2.10.01 a "later" version that the RN7.6 I am running?

How safe is it to upgrade to 2.10.01 (assuming it is a later version). Will I lose everything? I have been looking through the distro, and the am very fearful I will miss an important readme, or something as there is a readme in most folders. HELP A NOOB TODAY! Very Happy

Spurt

Yes it is a later version. In fact, its several versions old.
You'll want to upgrade to 2.10.01, the code is much better and many fixes have been done.

I don't even know if there's an upgrade path from RN7.6, but search the forums and I'm sure you'll find something.

spurtus, Yes, though phpMyAdmin, check the nuke_config table. The one row there has a field called "version". But, cannot recall if Raven had already started putting in "rnAABBCC" for the version number format way back then.
