http://www.ravenphpscripts.com/postt13455.html

My problem is that when I log in as User, and post a message in Forums, I am showing up as Site Admin rather than Moderator.

Is this happening to anyone else?

To answer a few ?'s:

yes, I created user groups
yes, I logged out as admin before posting the new post

Again, am I missing something?

TIA

There is a seperate user-level permission that is the "Site Admin" or Administrator. This allows you to do everything that a Moderator is allowed to do, plus access the forums Administration Panel.

It is not tied to the Nuke admin account at all, but the Nuke user account.

The title is absolute correct. But you can edit the name "SiteAdmin" to whatever you wish in the forums configuration and there under ranks. To display you as Moderator within the different forums you should check the options in the forums administration.

Aha!

Ok so I was on the right path then. I just didn't rename the Site Admin to "Moderator" is all...? Gosh....how embarassing...truly!

So now, when I log in as as ADMIN then post something (while not logged in as user) will I appear "Admin" or Moderator (since I renamed it?)...I know...me and my stupid questions....sorry....

Thanks again!

Moderator Smile Just try it out. I renamed my Site Admin to Guru & Moderator and that worked within the forum.
