I would consider moving the refer code from index.php to a file that is loaded every page like header.php.

Should give a more accurate reading.

You can do it for your site if you need that. It´s already described in another post here in the forums. But I think it should not be standard in RavenNuke.

Of course we could replace the referer or the site statistics with another tracking tool we discussed this already in the past. There are really a lot of such free tools available. So if you need something like this just search.
I´m using awstats it isn´t bad and its free.

I think better tracking would be significant bonus, but I will search for the other thread. I would like to read it if you can find the post before I do.

Thanks.

I must prefer other statistics modules.. phpNuke is rather lean but it is fine for basic referrals. Anything past that, I use Google Analytics or whatever is installed on my server (Webalizer, etc)

Yeah my thoughts was putting the refers in header.php and maybe somehow adding $module_name into the mix. This way you could tell where your site suffered or gained the most.

I am trying to give refers an actual purpose without breaking too much out the core.

Note if you throw $module_name in there. I think the footer.php would be best suited Very Happy
