Please search for this. In RN themes use the ads() call to display the advertising stuff. Older themes are using something else. It is likely you will need to edit your theme to remove the old call and replace it with an ads() call. Look at fisubice's theme.php file (search for ads()) and perhaps you can figure it out.

Did you look at fisubice?

It is doing this in themeheader()

Code:

echo ads(0);

right after it echo's out the <body> tag.

Try this. First remove this line:

$showbanners = ads(0);

($showbanners isn't used in theme.php. However it may be in one of the eval'ed html files, but you haven't included those...)

Now find this line:

echo "<body bgcolor=\"#FFFFFF\" text=\"#000000\">";

After that, add this:

echo ads(0);

If that doesn't work, zip up the entire theme directory and post that somewhere where we can look at it. Good luck!

Just to close the loop on this, I removed all the if ($banners == 1) stuff. Then added a line

$showbanners = ads(0);

in its place.

I then fixed a few warnings that are common to the copy & paste theme designers.
