hi guys

some of my registerd admins and members are being blocked

and the message given is this

seems sentinel is over sensative once the cache is cleared it seems to work ok again for them or is there a patch or work around ?[/code]

Please search for invalid IP, there are plenty of threads about this. I'd be surprised if this was related to a client's browser cache.

well i found turning
$bypassNukeSentinelInvalidIPCheck = true; by yourself in another post

but it clearly states in rnconfig
This should only be used (set to TRUE) when testing locally and not in a production

or should i only put it into the config instead of changing it in rnconfig

I run with $bypassNukeSentinelInvalidIPCheck = true on my site because it was blocking legitimate users. All it does is turn off that invalid IP check. You can decide for yourself if you want to take that "risk".

If you are using RavenNuke, the place to change it is in rnconfig.php.

If you are using another Nuke, you can add that to config.php.

Please update your IP2Country data first if you haven't already

Yes, sorry, updating IP2Country may also "fix" your problem.

i was running 2.5.6 so i have updated it to run the latest Sentinel

2.5.11 i`ll see how this goes
