Users point system

Ok I have looked for hours for a download for the user point system. I have nuke7.9 and I know it came with the automatic install. But when I first started the site I deleted it for some reason and would like to have it back. I can not find an active download for this. Anyone have any suggestions?

Is this a standard version of 7.9, or some variant.

If you deleted the files can you not re-upload the files from 7.9 package again?

Can you check something as well? When you go to the Admin Menu do you have a button for 'Users Group/Points'? What happens when you click on it?

As far as admin menu, I did have that button until I deleted the points module.

As far as I know it is just standard 7.9. I did add the patch.

When I signed up with my webhost, I just did the install through Fantastico so I don't know how to just re-upoad it again without starting from scratch.

I still have my old 7.9 directory laying around, and there is no user points module. The whole user points thing is sprinkled all over Nuke. Unless we are talking about different things. Maybe you are thinking of admin/modules/groups.php?

I see what you are talking about. Ok I added the user groups and assigned certain number of points required. When I scroll down to assign points to different functions, it won't take them. I put them in and click update and it clears the box.

Also, before I deleted the point system I was able to "modify" a user and it showed his "user points" field where I could also adjust the number of points. Now that field doesn't show.

How did you delete the point system? Have you undone all your deletes?

I did it from the modules administration menu. It wasn't working like I wanted it to so I got mad and just deleted it. I have since found out why it wasn't working and would like it back. I look in my modules folder and it isn't there as well.

Well like I said, there is no user points system module, so I am not sure we are talking about the same thing....????

If you want to grab another copy of 7.9, with security patches, go to nukeresources.com. Re-upload the files.

I agree with Gremmie. I'm not sure how you deleted it from the modules administration menu, but grab the 7.9 files and re-upload.

I'm sure people get annoyed with us saying this, but we have their best interests at heart. Very Happy

You could upgrade to RavenNuke. Wink
