Either deactivate it or set it to prompt you to allow them. |

will try that but why would my block code automatically change? when i make the block i actually use the "target" reference but then when i save it, go back in to look at it, the "target" ref has disappeared. is this really related to popup blocker? |

No. It was late when I posted that and I had forgotten that the code was actually changing. Since the code is changing and you don't use NukeSentinel(tm) then it has to be the nuke filter(s) that are changing it. Somewhere you are blocking it w/i nuke itself. Do you use any kind of a 'security' add-on? Can you add a story with a url with the target property? |

Assuming you have a local copy of your nuke folder, run a search on the folder and sub-folders for target. That should narrow it down. |

i did run a search on all the 7.9 nuke files and there are several instances of that word being in there but i have no idea how to decipher what that means!
is there something specific i should be looking for? could it maybe be that i am using the
"target="_blank" command and that maybe i should be using something else to indicate a new window? |

Candy,
Glad you were able to figure it out.
BTW, that resolution was provided to you starting on 5/19/2007 (on page 1 of this topic). |

I didn't see that! The solution i found actually involved the mainfile.php and commenting out the delete line referenced in that post.
The suggestions on page one i think all involved only the config.php file. |

I was referring to pointing you to the $AllowableHTML setting in config.php as it is referenced in the sub routine of the line that you deleted. Nonetheless, Chris' How-To is a very valuable reference! |
