What is your question? For the most part (there are exceptions), what he is saying is true.

First, themes for platinum or EVo will probably not work in PhpNuke without some adjustments. You need to try and find themes for phpnuke. When you find themes for phpnuke, you still may have some problems with Ravens using it, since some theme makers are not following coding styles that Ravens has implemented to clean up the code and make it more compliant.

This surprises me given that Platinum and Evo both are nuke derivatives and I did not think that they were that far off, at least not in themes?

Regardless, if they are free public themes, just try them! That is as simple as uploading the new theme and then log in as a regular user and change your theme in Your Account. I usually set up a test user account for testing things just like this. I would NOT switch over your entire site's default theme until you have thoroughly tested it first!

Maybe I am the bad apple Montego....lol....I have had many issues with getting platinum themes and evo themes to work. I now just look for nuke themes and go from there..... Very Happy

Platinum and Evo use some phpBB addons, meaning more template file changes. I wouldn't be surprised if they seem to be missing things on the stock phpNuke / RavenNuke files.
