More Sub-Categories in Weblinks?

My weblinks is currently only showing 3 sub-categories under the main category instead of all of them. Is there any way I can get it to show all of them instead of just the 3? I've looked in the index.php file and I can't find where this is limiting the number to 3.

How many categoris or sub-categories did you make?
In your download module admin panel try to recheck your settings from there..

This is under Weblinks, not Downloads.

The Sub-categories under the individual main categories are only showing 3 per main category. I have anywhere from 4-6 sub categories under each Main category.

I'd like to be able to change the number it displays from 3 to max.

Sorry, just realized this was never answered. There is this line in modules/Web_Links/index.php:

$result2 = $db->sql_query('SELECT cid, title from '.$prefix.'_links_categories where parentid=\''.$cid.'\' order by title limit 0,3');

You can change the 3 to whatever you want, but I am not sure whether it will format right or not, but you can give it a try.

There was another thread about this if you search. One user suggested the change montego proposed and I remember the original poster said it worked.

I have tested this hack and it works just fine with both Downloads and Web Links, so have fun! Wink
