need help with adding image to link

I am trying to modify the user info block so that the "register" and "lost password" links are in the form of a image and not just text. I am trying to change this code;

Code:

$content .= '<a href="modules.php?name=Your_Account&amp;op=pass_lost">&middot;&nbsp;<b><u>'._PASSWORDLOST.'</u></b></a><hr />';

to something like this:

      $content .= "<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"$admin_file.php?op=adminMain\"><font color=\"$buttontext\">Admin Menu</a><div>";


      $content .= "</td></tr>";

Where it makes a nice looking block with text.

everything I do seems to break the block.

You haven't closed your table tag, or your center tag.
