Submit News IP

Hi,

To be honest, with so many forums, I don't really know if this is the right one for my question.
Having said that:

I'm using RN 2.10 and I wanted to know how I can see the Ip's from visitors/bots that are spamming my site using the submit news option.
I could make this available only for members but I want to leave this acessible to all (members and visitors) but I need to know how I can see the IP's of someone who submited certain articles so I can IP Ban them.

It is possible track IP's in Sentinel, that should tell you who submitted the article.

If they are spamming a particular subject, i.e certain drugs you could add the name of the drug into Sentinels string blocker so it blocks them automatically.

banzai, in addition, RavenNuke 2.10.01 comes with what I call a "spam captcha". See your rnconfig.php. You can still have the news open to all, but require a captcha. That might stop the majority of them from getting in.
