Hey Yall!
On behalf of the Novocaine Gaming Community (www.novclan.com) I'd love to thank you guys and gals for RavenNuke!
I had been using a standard installation of PHPNuke 7.8 installed by my old host's fantastico. It was very insecure and we were even hacked once via a UNION SQL injection in the search module. We have gained more than 2,500 registered members and just hit 2,000,000 website hits! I consider ourselves very fortunate considering the failure rate of many gaming clans.
I had just recently moved my website to a new web host and began experiencing several problems with session IDs, crazy error messages, and lack of new post notifications. These all made it nearly impossible to conduct our business as many times people wouldn't even be aware of the existence of an important topic. Just last week I installed Nuke Evolution for a friend. I found it to be VERY bloated and it's incompatibility with many themes was quite frustrating.
Yesterday I came back to RavenNuke (which I had know about for a while) and began reading up on it's features. I decided it would be a good choice for my site and began the installation process. I found it to be quite painless. I did encounter several problems but all but one were well documented in the forums and readme/FAQ and were fixed within minutes.
I (and my entire community) are extremely pleased with our new site. Although it looks and functions almost exactly as before, all the bug fixes and peace of mind provided by the increased security and code optimization are priceless in my mind.
Thanks for providing such an excellent product and service! You folks RULE!

I too must echo my feelings about the superior job that you good folks are doing. When I first started looking at the Portal system I was getting hacked daily. To the point that I was fixing to abandon the portal system entirely. Then I found RavenNukeā¢. I figured what the heck let me play with it. Then I installed it to a live website. Since I switched over to RavenNuke⢠I have not experienced a single successful hack attempt. Each morning when I answer my mail I get a long list of attempts made to hack my sites from Nuke Sentinel but not one of them has been successful.
I wrote Raven some time back expressing my gratitude. I restate it here again. You good folks have taken a good idea and made it a viable alternative for any business that wants to communicate with its customers. I salute each and every one of you who have contributed to this effort and I offer my sincerest thanks for a job well done. I know it is an on going process and I say keep up the excellent work, you have my thanks. |

Wait until you see 2.20. I think that even in the RN team's mind (if I can speak of such), this started as an incremental improvement to 2.10.01 but along the way there have been so many significant additions and fixes that it now qualifies as far more than minor. |

How wonderful it is to receive these type forum "issues"
In contrast, there is one particular individual that enjoys hammering away at us and the nuke community as a whole. We have totally ignored him as it is apparent he is childish and a most miserable soul. He now attacks and insults the entire nuke community as well. Fortunately for all concerned, he has left the community he despises.
Messages like this one and the others that we receive both publicly and privately continue to reinforce our commitment and revitalize our desire to our community, not a/the community. Thanks again!! |
