Hello All,
I have looking at this for a couple of weeks now. I must be missing something. We can not seem to post any html code in our forum or it bans the user.
I want to be able to post an html table on commonly used commands in Everquest. When i try i get banned. even if im logged in as the admin. Also i would like to post some parsed files that outputs in html but we can not do that either.
Thanks

Sorry to ask this question but I need to be sure. In Forums --> Configuration, do you have HTML posting turned on? |

In that same screen you will also see a list of 'allowed' html tags which can be used for the forums.
You will need to add any missing html tags there that are not already listed if you want to use them.
Before you do that though, you might want to consider something like the Content module which has the WYSIWYG editor built in and link to that from your forum. |

I've a problem that is close to this maybe.
I've posted too about it.
When I have magic qoutes gpc "On" then I get the same problem, sentinel blocks users when users post html in the WYSIWYG boxes of phpnuke (signature, news).
When I have magic qoutes gpc "Off" I don't have this problems.
I would like to know if magic qoutes gpc Off is the right setting.

Is there a wildcard that i can use to allow all html code? if not is there a limit to how many i can list? will this effect the security of my website? |

Allowing all HTML tags does present a security risk and therefore most people disable their use altogether. I don't there is a limit tp how many you can list, but I could be wrong. |
