My site name is United Soldiers and the site is www.unitedsoldiers.co.nr When I go into my administration panel or forums the title starts to act weird. It'll show things like "United Soldiers-#146#146#146" or sometimes the number is 147 or 153. When you go to post a topic it shows "United Soldiers-posttopic-New Topic". This isn't right. When browsing a forum and it's working semicorrectly it displays "United Soldiers-General Discussion." I would like it to show "United Soldiers - General Discussion".

As you can see i'm having multiple problems with the Title. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

shoot4thrill, have made any changes to includes/dynamic_titles.php? It looks to me like you have because the default delimiter is " - " (i.e., a dash with spaces around it). So, it looks like you have modified the file and if you had done that with a poor text editor (we suggest good ones in the HowToInstall manual), it could also mess things up a bit.

Try re-uploaded the original file from the download and make sure you use a good FTP client such as FileZilla (free from sourceforge.net).

I have not edited that file and I re-uploaded it again. I use FlashFXP.

Can you help?

I've seen this problem on a NukePlatinum distro as well. They aren't using dynamic titles there. It might be a phpBB problem.

shoot4thrill, ShortLinks has nothing to do with DynamicTitles. I just now went to your site and have been navigating around your forums and I do not see anything that I would not expect to see. Would you please post an exact link to a page where you are seeing this issue?

If your concern is that the titles keeps changing around and sometimes has detailed text of the forum posts in it, that is by design and is intended to improve not only your search engine results but also improve the click-through rate to your site.
