I just noticed that the count of visitors/members in the "visitors online" block has disappeared. Any ideas where I should look? It's the same for the admin panel too.

First of all, look in your server error log. Then, have you made any recent changes? If so, backtrack to see if that could possibly be involved. If neither of those appear to address the issue, try doing a repair on the sessions table.

OK - this from phpmyadmin:

Can't open file: 'nuke_session.MYI'. (errno: 145)

Error

SQL-query :

SHOW KEYS FROM `nuke_session`

MySQL said:

#1016 - Can't open file: 'nuke_session.MYI'. (errno: 145)

You should repair the nuke_session table. For description see:

You can also make a command from the SQL-box or window:

REPAIR TABLE nuke_session;

Can someone help here?

I have tried everything suggested and it still does not show visitors.

One thing I can think of is that I changed the name of Visitors to 'Guest' instead of Anonymous - I updated this username in phpmyadmin and it still didn't do anything

I don't know if that affects anything? No other major changes I can think of..

Were they ever showing up? If so, then you need to restore your files from your backups that were changed since then.

Yes it worked once..

How am I meant to do that?

Can I replace a certain file with an original file without screwing anything else up?

I don't want to lose what I've done so far.........

Just make backups of any file you replace. That way you can always restore it. If you discover that restoring the file corrects the problem then you will know where the issue is. To find what the issue is, use a good file compare utility to see where the differences are and you will probably find the cause rather quickly Wink

there must be a better way?

why would they just stop showing up?

what files control this?

SELECT * FROM `nuke_session` WHERE 1

My nuke_sessions says that

What does this mean?
