nothing to major but if you set the site slogan in preferences to something like

Quote:

The Ultimate In How To's


and then turn on dynamic titles it displays it as an entity

Thanks testy1. I believe the reason for some of the replacements were for XHTML compliance issues within the page title. But, I'll research this again just to make sure.

i don't completely understand what is going on with the replace, but can't you just add \'.

the apostrophe isn't the problem, I can only imagine

1. montego has some type of function that is finding and replacing with entities.

or

2. montego loves looking at entities so is trying to display them everywhere

Ya' think?

I already said why and that it was a XHTML compliance reason. I haven't had time yet to research if that is really needed or not.

Hmm, entities and beer just doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

beer what more is there to say, we have a beer convention here in australia everyday at 4:00 lol
