Your point is well taken. I tell my son all the time if some strike him, he has the right to strike back because there is a law known as self defense. Okay, he strikes back, the means justify the end but should he continue to strike back afterwards? No, because he would be in the wrong. I said that, to say this... Regardless of the allegations, the facts has been proven. Being a person who only deal with facts and not allegations, lets deal with facts only. It has been proven that sentinal was not the cause of whatever happen at my website and it has been proven sentinal pc killer is not a virus. Therefore, why the need of others to continually strike back at what has already been proven? A bunch of unnecessary chaos.

As being one of the receivers of the slanderous attacks from NC, I have pretty much stayed out of commenting unless I really felt I had a point to make. I do agree with you, Baloo, and others, and have even posted an article about moving on, and then once again, NC does it again. Well, that's history. I would challenge you with taking a stand at NC and with Paul in particular, in public, as he seems hell bent on trying to defame and discredit our work here. We have not and do not intend on attacking any of them, and there are those of us that could easily air some dirty laundry from NC that would generate all kinds of traffic here, in doing so. That's not how I intend on conducting business here and I wish he would show some iota of professionalism in return. Sure, there will be little spats, we're all human. Case in point? Allevon's tirade at http://209.213.221.234/posts29594-45.html and especially his direct personal attack on Bob Marion. How in God's name you or any member of NC tolerates that, laughs at it, jokes about it, justifies that, is beyond me. While I respect you and what you have done over the past few days, it contradicts supporting that behavior by joining with them as staff. Obviously, this is my opinion and nothing more.

Paul and NC owe the community a huge aplogy for their actions, accusations, and attitudes. But the chances of that ever happening are as likely as you or me becoming President.

I respect your opinion and as you know I have no control as to what someone does or say at anyone website other than my own. Yes, I would've handle the situation differently had it been my website, since it's not my website nor do I have the control or power to handle it, there's nothing I can do about it. As one of NC staff members, that doesn't mean I support the behavior it only mean I support the community (nuke community). Please do not assume I support such behavior because I'm part of the staff there, I'm not the chief, I'm only one little indian trying to help the community via giving them support with their problem(s) (if I can).

You are going to have to pick sides. That's what this is all about in the end. You will never be fully "respected" here you until you:
A. Tell Paul he is a jerk(you'll need to make that public) and leave NC
B. Tell Paul he needs to apoligize publicly and Leave NC
C. Leave NC and never look back(you'll need to make that public)
D. All the above and more

Simply helping the Nuke community is not enough to gain respect from THIS site or NC it appears. Being affiliated with NC, no matter who you are is a strike against you already here and there. At least this is how it looks to a Newbie reading these posts here and at NC.

I can tell you now, your answer to Raven is not good enough to satisfy him. Razz

By the way, when is everyone going to shutup and move on?

The "we" in my post was referring to "management", if you will. I should have been more clear. Sorry. Owner/Management cannot always control the passions of others, nor would I want to try. I try to keep the boards open and work with people behind the scenes where possible. The management team at this site is trying to keep a balanced approach where at all possible. It is very hard sometimes, for all parties.

I am making one last appeal, to everyone, to stop the attacks at NC and here. If you feel the need to respond to something, then by all means do, as I nor anyone else can stop you. However, do it with as much dignity that you can. Address the issue and avoid language and hateful remarks. Please do not continue to instigate anything. That is doing the same thing that they have done and we accuse them of. If you feel it is becoming personal, then either defend yourself once and walk away or move it to private.

I will not pick sides. I have too much respect for both sites to pick and choose, sorry I can't do it. Whether the people here respect me or not for refusing to picck sides is totally up to them, nevertheless I will still give them respect.

Please share with me what the definition of “spam” means to you. I would think that spamming would be going through each topic and posting something.. Or posting a link over and over and over.. Or advertising your product over and over.. See a pattern over and over I just did that so they would know what was going on, with out it im sure Paul couldn’t sleep at night and would still be calling me “Step”!!!

If you all didn’t notice my other topic in chit chat, im out of there.. And will never get to any one of Paul’s sites ever again.

I was never implying that you were responsible. I was trying to say that you might/could help stop it or at least put it in check by stating, in no uncertain terms, your disdain for the way the attacks came or at the least call on them to apologize as you did. They were quick to jump against "us" when you and MikeM made your posts, but when you both retracted your posts, they are, as usual, silent. Sometimes silence speaks volumes, whereas a few chosen words, especially from "staff" can move mountains.

I also agree. We got what we wanted (partially), however, we didn't get an apology (with the exception of Foxy). Unfortunately, bitching at NukeCops won't get us that apology, and futher comments are quite a waste at their site. Let's just keep quiet for now. This also includes attention deprived kiddies Wink
