This board has no forums

Hello Raven and all staf Raven PHP Scripts;

For Your information, my installation with RavenNuke_v2.30.01 success. But when I go to forums, display 'This board has no forums'. I need your help again..... how to fix..........

To create the forum is to dificult for me. Where can I get the guide, to fill the text box there. I try to find with the search but I canot find....

You need to go the admin panel and then go to forums. In there are the settings for setting up the forums. If you still need a tutorial trying Googling for "phpbb2 tutorial".

That is, sometimes, confusing. Adding to JakeC's response, you need to login as admin. You will then see the Admin Control Panel (ACP). Select Forums and you will now see the Forums Control Panel (FCP). You will see a menu down the left side. Towards the top you will see

Forum Admin
Management
Permissions

Select Management. Before creating your first forum you need to create a Category for the Forum to reside in. A Category is like a file cabinet drawer and a Forum is like a file folder. Just as you can have have multiple file folders in a file cabinet drawer to help organize the file drawer, you can have multiple Forums in a Category to help organize your Forums in your Categories Smile

. In mine, for example, my first Category is called Read Me First!!!. Then I created a forum named Board Rules and Regulations. You then need to assign Permissions (like locks on a file cabinet) to the forums. You also need to Configure you Forum.

That may be enough to get you started but in any even you will need to do as JakeC suggests and that's to Google for phpbb2 tutorial. Good luck Wink

I try go phpbb2 tutorial, but I don't know where after step 1, step 2, after and after and so on. I like your guide... I already add categori like your sugest. After this how.....
