Mail New Stories to Admin

Just wondering if the "Mail New Stories to Admin" is still needed and/or already been considered now that RN has tegomail.Can it be incorporated or does it need to be seperate.

Not sure I understand what you are saying. That option is for News articles and notifying the admin when I new one is submitted. I don't believe this has anything to with tegomail, but I could be wrong.

Basically you need to input the email address and the rest of the stuff,Couldn't it be re-configured to use the settings from tegomail.

Just wondering if it makes more sense to have all mail options in one area.

OK I see what you are saying.

I guess you may want to specify a different email address, other than the main god admin address.

If you like to have always the freedom to create a specific and different e-mail for New Stories to Admin you should not change the way it works.

testy1, I still see these as separate "animals". The TegoNuke(tm) Mailer (my script by the way) is meant solely as an alternative transport mechanism for those folks who end up landing with a host who has disabled the PHP mail() function. It isn't a functional thing. I see the other configuration settings as belonging under their respective areas such as Preferences, Forums, ?.

But, I will say this, what I hear rumblings of within some members of the RN Team is the possibility of providing more of a tabbed admin interface. So, I still see opportunity there. Wink
