Raven,

Is this related to the error documents?

When in the admin section and click ErrorDocuments, I get this.

Code:
An unknown error occurred.

Ok, well I'm done, gonna take a bit more than I'm capable of as my problem was definitely the custom theme.

Good Luck

Just for everyone's knowledge, once I had his site permissions, I went through a very extensive testing of everything that might even cause errors. The only difference between his code and the v2.30.01 release is that he has ftp'd the files in ASCII and not BINARY, which is a no-no. I replaced his entire fckeditor as BINARY but that did not help. The only thing left to try, imo, is for you to create a new install as virgin v2.30.01 and make sure you transfer all files as BINARY. Then do not make any changes other than config.php. If it continues to throw up a 403 error then you will have to get your host involved because there is absolutely nothing in our code that would cause this. So, get the virgin install up and running and then let us know.

I used FileZilla and left that setting on auto. I just changed it to BINARY. If I re upload the files and overwrite them, will it change anything on the site? Will I have to reedit all the content and such?

Ok, just re uploaded the files in BINARY.

The problem persists.

I will contact my host and see what they say.

Thanks to everyone that helped with this subject. Cheers

If you installed any custom modules or blocks that are not part of the RN package then no, they will not be overwritten. If you installed Content-Plus then you need to unselect /modules/Content/ when uploading so as to not overwrite it. Other than that, you should preserve the config.php file and possibly rnconfig.php or just modify the ones in the distro to match the ones already there and then upload. Same goes for your htaccess file if modified. Raven may have more specifics but I think that about covers it.

Interesting, I use Filezilla in auto mode and never had any problems.

Whoa, we bumped heads here, you already uploaded ... speedtype

I guess if nothing else becomes of this, I learned a lesson. Upload in Binary!

Yes, I decided to take the chance, and re uploaded all the files, except for the config.php in binary.

Tomorrow I will contact my host and post what they say.

What exactly should I ask them?

MP, I didn't want you to overwrite your files. I wanted you to create a separate stand alone virgin copy of RavenNuke(tm) with absolutely nothing else in the root folder except for RavenNuke(tm). I said to change the config.php file only to match the database. That way we know that nothing else is different except for the environment.

Ok, I submitted a ticket with my host. There telling me I am missing files. They pointed this out in the error log.

Code:
[client **.***.**.***] File does not exist: /home/*****/public_html/nuke/includes/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/default/themes, referer: http://overbrookhospital.net/includes/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/browser/default/browser.html?Type=Image&Connector=http%3A%2F%2Foverbrookhospital.net%2Fincludes%2Ffckeditor%2Feditor%2Ffilemanager%2Fconnectors%2Fphp%2Fconnector.php

What's the date/time stamp on that message? The reason I ask is that when I looked at your error log originally there were no errors. This is the type error I was looking for but may well have missed it. But before I head down another path I need to know the date/time stamp because if you had tried the rnconfig change that dad7732 suggested you would have received a file not found error. Let me know. Thanks!

Code:
[Sat Mar 07 18:23:13 2009]
is the time stamp.

is it possible I need to set me upload path to "/home/*******/public_html/nuke/uploads/"?

I got it fixed. It was my host. They told me my site was tripping mod_security. They white listed it for me. Now all is well.

I want to thank everyone who helped me fix this. Raven, and everyone else, I have never had such great support. Thanks!

I run mod_security on my server and if the host isn't fully aware of its powers, then it can be a true gremlin. Fortunately my Son is a UNIX professor at a major university here and he has pruned and pared it properly so that it works really great. Thanks for posting back with the solution .... Smile

To your host! Evil or Very Mad Rolling Eyes Bang Head RTFM

You are very welcome! I have spent countless hours myself fine tuning mod_security rules. mod_security is supposed to issue a 406 error by default, not 403! Had they set up the rules correctly then we would have known immediately what the issue was. GEESH!!!

In any event we are glad that it finally got fixed Wink

even though it's fixed.......

I was having the same problem, I ended up doing a compare with the latest fckeditor and changed a few things.....I also added the geshi plugin as well.

You can try it if you like and see if it fixs the problem

Hi misterpat,

I have same issue as it was with you.

I have integrated FCKEditor correctly and working fine with my local system.

Then I have uploaded it to Live server and changed respective path config.php file.

Everything in FCK works fine in live server too but As I click on [BROWSE] button to access browser it gives me

403 Error in IE
Blank Page in Firefox
Just fall in loop and say waiting in Crome.

Can you help me to solve this?

How did you get resolved this with your hosting?

Please Advise
