I have been looking around to see if there is an issue with having jQuery called by two separate apps at the same time. I could not find a clear answer. So, is there a way to use jQuery for a lightbox mod without interfering with other RN modules such as when new users register? If not, do you know of issues that may arise from this?

I don't see why a jQuery lightbox would interfere with other RN modules or with RNYA's jQuery usage. You would only need to load jQuery once, of course, but you should be able to load multiple jQuery plugins after that. As with any open source code (or proprietary code), testing is recommended.

Thank you kguske. Everything I could find on the subject said the same thing. I was going to add it on a module by module basis, but that really over complicates the addon as opposed to including it in javascript.php once and it being usable for all of them.

Agreed. I only wrapped module logic around loading jQuery because it was the only reason to do so at the time. I'd like to change the logic so you can more easily control when jQuery and associated plugins get loaded (i.e. always, modules, specific ops, etc.). Then, Raven through in a twist - we need it for certain admin functions, too...
