Left-aligning a theme

I am trying to force a 800 width theme to align to the left. I am able to get the header to line to the left, but the blocks, news, and everything else shows up to the right of the header.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to edit in the themes?

Every theme is different. It is virtually impossible to say without seeing it what you should do. Could you please give a link to it so that we can see it. We would also need to know if this theme has external html files in it as well as the theme.php. I would like to know why you want it to line up to the left please

This theme has external html files and a theme.php file.

The reason for the left-aligning is just a preference for this particular site.

I dumped the theme for now so there is no link. Howerver, I will post more details a little later such as the specific theme, changes I attempted, etc.
