admin.php Sorry, this Module isn't active!

so.. this is wierd.

try to log into admin. the sent httpauth box pops up ok fine. but. instead of taking me to admin it tells me

Sorry, this Module isn't active!

i have reuploaded pretty much the whole entire site. which didnt fix it. so im stumped

Sounds like a redirect problem. Are you using shorlinks?

yes. but it was working perfect yesterday. and it should not be trying to tap any of the admin links

if you remove your .htaccess file can you log into admin fine? If so I would turn off shortlinks and remove the shortlink stuff from your .htaccess file and go from there.

If removing the .htaccess file works, but removing the shortlinks stuff does not post back and maybe raven or one of the other guys can help you more with .htaccess stuff.

idk how. the the problem resolved itself...

Sounds to me like it was host related or possible something you may have done with the hosting account control panel. Glad its working now.
