I'm new to RN 2.30 user, you guys recruited me from osc2nuke. But things aren't going well. I finished install & could not log in as admin. I reviewed your forum where someone suggested I delete or rename .htaccess, it worked... temporarily, because after logging in as admin & setting up nuke sentinel which required me reupload & alter .htaccess & .staccess I cannot log in again as admin only as user. My site url is http://www.hawaiiwhisper.com if you want to take a look.
If you need admin access to my host cpanel just let me know & I'll send you the username & password.
Thanks in advance |

You need to explain what you mean by can't login. What is the behavior that you experience? |

But if you rename your .htaccess you are able to login as Admin, correct? If so, then it's a setup problem with NukeSentinel(tm) which you've probably deduced by now
If you are still having problems then please PM to me your
FTP url name/password
RN admin name/password
What you want your NukeSentinel(tm) name/password to be
That should be all I need to set it up. |

There is a scan for new administrators feature in Nuke Sentinel. Not sure if that comes into play since you say you haven't set any admin logins on Sentinel, but you might want to check it out.
If you can't run fckeditor and have an unspecified "some error" it might be worth checking further. Errors seldom happen in isolation. If you have an incomplete FTP process you will be dealing with errors until they come out your ears and would be best to check the site out from top to bottom and make sure you have the correct files in the correct places. |

how do you scan the admins ..
the nuke sentinel is on the only thing i havent done is i havent activated admin authentication.
In which case the admins shouldnt have problem to log in .. i would think.
if i can remember there used to be a function on nuke admin where you could promote a member to admin |

First you should activate admin authentication to be more protected.
Scan for new admins is in the Nuke Sentinel administration - HTTPAuth Menu. |
