Get error, "server not found" because when clicking on Forums/New Forum Posts from the drop-down menu, I get the URL:

http://http://www.MYSITE.com/ ... etc.

Are you upgrading or doing a fresh install?

What value is in your "domain" in the forum configuration.

The first thing in the forums admin under configuration is "Domain Name".
