When I go into edit a message for the home page with the fckeditor, I see the editor menu but NO icons on it!
Anybody have any ideas?
I've FTP'd my images (binary) several times now, and I'm at a loss.
the entire images directory
all images under includes |

In other instances of the editor do you see the icons? For example in preferences? |

I have the same problem in other instances - no icons when I go to preferences. |

webservant, this sounds like an upgrade. What version did you come FROM?
You may also want to check out the Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! as there is a file migration utility to help spot some issues (possibly this one). |

Well that was helpful overall, but it did not effect this issue. My struggle is that because of the nature of the editor part of the screen, I can't even get a "properties" view of what is missing. So, I don't even see what files aren't loading correctly. It could be a corrupt file, but just as easily a permissions error. |

All I can think to add is to maybe check your server's error log to see if it is indicating any missing files. If I recall, the location of fckeditor was changed in a fairly recent upgrade and you might be experiencing difficulties due to that. |

OK. So, I solved this with a sledge hammer. I took a tar of includes/fckeditor from my working development system, and restore it onto my production system. Everything seems to work now. Some file must have been corrupted, and this seemed the easiest way to the solution!
Thanks for your help everyone! ![Cheers](modules/Forums/images/smiles/cheers.gif) |
